Prior to my current role as Director of Early World Children’s School, I was the assistant director at Sammamish Children’s School. I moved to WA from the East Coast in 2017 with my husband and two children.

I love to read and learn about new things. In the summer,I’m either on the lake in our boat, paddle boarding with friends, or gardening. But my favorite thing to do is play with my puppy Hudson! My favorite children’s book is Eric Carle’s “Mr. Seahorse” because I used to read it to my own children when they were little.

At the start of my career, I worked as a nanny, then ran my own in-home daycare for 9+ years. I also worked as an executive recruiter on Wall Street and even at one point worked for a children's entertainment company.

I was born and raised in Texas and moved to WA in 2020 with my husband and two dogs. My mom has been a Second Grade Teacher for almost 30 years. Due to her experiences, I always knew that education was my passion!

I’m a huge baseball fan and I also love to hike and travel. My favorite children’s book is The Book with No Pictures by B.J. Novak.

I have an Early Childhood Education initial certificate and an associates in applied science in Early Childhood Education.

I was a teacher for six years prior to this position and also worked as a nanny.
